Tourism scholarships
At the School at Tourism and Hospitality Management we offer students a range of scholarships each year, either directly through the School, or via University-wide scholarships.
Internship scholarship program
Internship scholarships are awarded to students for their undergraduate internship in Australia or abroad. In 2010 the School, with its industry partners, gave students almost $50,000 through the Internship scholarship program.
Students win an internship scholarship through a competitive recruitment process in which they submit an application and attend an interview, as if they are applying for a job. Our internships are listed on UniHub (only current students have access to UniHub). Once inside UniHub, simply enter the search term 'STHM scholarship' in the Quick Job Search field to find what scholarships we have on offer.
We would like to thank the following organisations for their recent involvement in our Internship scholarship program:
- Richmond Valley Council
- Lismore City Council
- Our Kids
- Scenic Rim Regional Council
- Byron at Byron Resort and Spa
- Flinders Ranges and Outback South Australia Tourism
- Ballina Shire Council
- Ballina Jet Boat Surf Rescue
- Northern Rivers Tourism
- Coffs Harbour Racing Club
- Crystal Castle
