The NSW North Coast and Southern Queensland can present very hot or wet weather during December. For your comfort on the day and when moving between venues on campus, we suggest you may like to bring drinking water, a hat, sunscreen, and your umbrella depending on the weather forecast.

Yes, you can attend our events at one or more campuses.
The program at each campus provides some flexibility for you to participate according to the time you have available to spend with us. However, we do encourage you to arrive at the designated start time, allowing time to park and make your way to the Welcome venue. After this session, you will be ushered to the Course Information Sessions of your choice.

No, Orientation is held the week prior to the start of the session and is packed full of activities and information. Orientation is a good time to get your ID card and find out about text books and course requirements.
Our Gold Coast campus operates on Queensland time all year round, which is Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). During Daylight Savings months, SCU Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses operate on NSW daylight saving time (AEDT), which is one hour ahead of AEST.
Unfortunately we are unable to cater for all dietary needs, so you may wish to bring along your preferred snack.

There is no need to register if you are attending an event on campus. You only need to register if you wish to participate in the Virtual Info Session. You simply need a connection to the internet, preferably broadband or wireless and a relatively up to date operating system, along with an internet browser like Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
You will need to register online via the Virtual Info Session registration form, which will be available later in the year from this website.
Once the dates are confirmed, we will send you an email with details of where and how to access the Sessions.

Around 5-10 minutes prior to the session, simply open the URL that we have sent to your email address. This will give you time to sign in and download Java (if you don't already have it) which your computer will do automatically. Then sit back and enjoy.
Anyone who misses the session will be sent a recording of the session via an email link that you can watch at your convenience.
