If you do need to use the term, and are referring to a single female graduate, she is an alumna of Southern Cross University. If you are writing about a group of female graduates, they are alumnae of Southern Cross University. When referring to a single male graduate, he is an alumnus of Southern Cross University. A group of male graduates are alumni of Southern Cross University. A mixed group of male and female graduates are also alumni of the University. |
