Authorisation of Articulation Arrangements
Registration of Articulation Pathway Arrangements
Each negotiated articulation arrangement (or specified advanced standing precedent) is confirmed by the Course Coordinator or Discipline Head. These arrangements are entered into the 'University Articulation Management System', are systematically aligned with the relevant Articulation Agreement and documented in the 'Articulation Annexure Report(s) to an Agreement'.
The 'Articulation Annexure Report(s) to an Agreement' is provided to the institute or qualification framework for comment.
School Board, Accreditation Committee and Academic Board approval
Articulation arrangements listed in the 'Articulation Annexure Report(s) to an Agreement' are proposed by the relevant SCU School/College Board for recommendation to the Accreditation Committee and approval by the Academic Board.
Approval Period
Where the approval process occurs smoothly, time elapsed between each phase is one month, making the formal approval process up to 3 months in duration.
Implementation of an Articulation Agreement
Following distribution of the Academic Board Meeting Minutes, a covering letter and two copies of the 'Articulation Annexure Report(s) to an Agreement' and the 'Articulation Terms of Agreement', following the appropriate template approved by SCU's Legal Counsel, are prepared.
Where applicable, three copies of any relevant Vet Credit Transfer Arrangement certificates are included. All documents are endorsed by the SCU signatories and are sent (via registered post or courier) with the covering letter, to the education institute or qualification framework.
Representatives of the institute or framework are informed via email that the articulation documents are in transit.
On receipt, all documents are examined, signed and dated by the institute or qualification framework. One copy of the endorsed 'Articulation Agreement' is retained, along with two copies of the 'VET Credit Transfer Arrangement' certificate(s). The remaining copy of the endorsed 'Articulation Agreement and 'VET Credit Transfer Arrangement' certificate are returned, via registered post or courier, to:
