SCU Snow Trip 2011 — New Zealand

Monday 1st Aug - Monday 8th August
(Week 7, Session 2 Study Week - No Lectures)

The annual SCU Snow Tour this year is to Queenstown, New Zealand.

Cost: $1600 per person.

Tour includes:

  • Return Airfares - Brisbane to Queenstown Flying Air New Zealand
  • 7 nights' accommodation at Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park (5-share self contained apartments)
  • 5-day NZ Super Pass (days don't have to be consecutive, also, lift passes can be swapped for other activity examples include jet boating, Milford Cruise, white water rafting - you may have to pay a little more to upgrade your pass for these activities)
  • Return transfers from Queenstown to Ski Resorts
  • Return Transfers from Queenstown Airport to Accommodation
  • A Team Dinner in Queenstown
  • A sensational SCU Snow NZ Tour T-shirt
  • Meet and greet function prior to departure at SCVU Uni Bar

A $400 non-refundable deposit is due by 30th April 2011 - spots are limited so first in first served - no spots held with our deposit.

Not included in this package but can be arranged on individual need basis:

  • Ski and Snow Board Hire
  • Snow Clothing
  • Return transport to Brisbane (TBC)

  • Lismore Campus: Summerland Credit Union, Goodman Plaza
  • Coffs Campus: SCU Student Centre, M Block
  • Gold Coast: Co-op Book Shop Beachside Campus
    NB: You will also need to make sure that you have a current passport and it is advised that you look at taking out personal travel insurance for things like loss of luggage, flight cancellations etc. OSCA will provide info on these to tourist that sign up.

Payment Schedule:

  • Deposit due: 30th April 2011 - $400
  • Instalment due: 30th May 2011 - $800
  • Final payment due: 30th June - $400
    plus any incidental expenses (e.g. Snow Board Hire/lessons)
