Lismore to host uni games (video from Prime 7 TV news)

Sunday 1^st — Thursday 5th July, Lismore, NSW

Lismore is set to host the Northern University Games in July 2012.This is a great opportunity for SCU students to be part of this exciting and energetic event. The Games will attract around 1500 students from all over northern Australia to Lismore for a week of sport and fun filled festivities.

Team SCU will be looking at entering competitive teams in all sport divisions of this year’s games so don’t miss out! Contact the UniLife Office to see how you can be a part of this event. Also there will be heaps of volunteering opportunities available with this event from first aid, to sports administration and logistics.

These games now act as a qualifier for most team sports into the Australian University Games (AUG).

Package 1: $150 includes:

• Registration into University games
• Team uniform

Package 2: $350 includes:

• Return Transport from Coffs Harbour, Coolangatta to Lismore
• 4 nights’ accommodation at AZA Motel
• Registration into University Games
• Team uniform
• Team SCU dinner
• NUG social pass
• Student Accident Insurance

Full Balance of Payment of $200 due: 1 June 2012 (non-refundable)
NB: once you have made your deposit UniLife will invoice participants for the balance which must be finalised by 1 June 2012.

UniLife Refund & Cancellation Policy:
Deposits will be refunded in full until 30th May 2012. Participants who withdraw after 30th May 2012 will forfeit any amounts paid and will be liable for the full amount of the event package. Failure to pay any outstanding amounts by the scheduled date may involve academic sanctions being imposed on the participant and participants will not be allowed to attend the event. It is important that you contact UniLife as soon as possible if you can no longer participate in the event.

Requests for refunds after 30th May 2012 will only be considered where there are extenuating circumstances and accompanied by supporting documentation. Requests must be made in writing to: The Senior Manager of UniLife Shop 10 Goodman Plaza PO Box 157 Lismore, NSW 2480.
