Course change (course transfer), withdrawal or leave of absence

Course Transfer / Changing Courses At SCU

To change your course at Southern Cross University you need to apply directly to the University for a course transfer.

To apply for a Course Transfer please follow the below steps:

  1. Log into My Enrolment
  2. Click on ‘My Applications’
  3. Select ‘Apply for a Course’
  4. Complete and Submit your application

Withdrawing From Your Course

The University provides Student Health Services for both internal and external students that you may like to access before taking this step.

Please talk to us to make sure you have considered all of your options and understood any implications of withdrawing from your course.

For instance, is a Leave of Absence, rather than a complete course withdrawal a possibility? Is there any Special Consideration the university could make to assist your successful completion of your course, or just through a difficult patch?

If you do wish to withdraw from your course of study, please access Self Withdraw from Course via My Enrolment.

Taking A Break From Your Study — Leave of Absence

If you have completed at least one Unit you can apply for a Leave of Absence from your studies. You need to be aware of the conditions which apply. These are available from the Rules Relating to Awards section of the Student Handbook [Rule 2.7 Leave of Absence for a Specified Period].

To apply for a Leave of Absence go to My Enrolment and submit a Leave of Absence Request. Student Services will send you confirmation to your SCU Webmail account once your request has been processed.
