Southern Cross University issues Student ID Cards to all students. The card remains valid while you are a student and should be carried with you whenever you are on campus. You must read the terms and conditions of Student ID Card use before you submit a Photo ID Card Request Form. You need an ID Card to:- Borrow from the Library
- Attend examinations
- Access computer labs and other approved University buildings after hours
- Use the student printers at Lismore and Gold Coast campuses.
You must also read the Printing and Copying Services Terms and Conditions before you use the printing facilities. See also the Photo ID Card – Terms and Conditions of Use. In PersonComplete a Photo ID Card Request form and bring it to the Student Centre at your campus. We’ll take your photo and issue you with the card while you wait. Please also bring with you some other form of photographic identification (such as a driver’s licence or passport). By MailDownload and complete a Photo ID Card Request form and include one (1) passport-sized photograph — no more than six (6) months old, showing a front view of your head and shoulders. Include a photocopy of your photo ID (eg. driver’s licence or international passport). Please print your name and Student ID number on the back of the photo and attach it to the Photo ID Card Request form with a paperclip. We will then post your card back to you. Please note, if you do not supply the required, appropriate photographs, we cannot issue your card. By EmailPrint, complete and sign the form. Scan your signed form as a PDF and attach to an email along with 1 recent passport-style photo and a copy of your photo ID (eg. drivers licence or international passport). Send your email to enquiry@scu.edu.au. Your ID card will be sent to your contact address. Lost or Stolen cardsLost or stolen cards can be replaced at a cost of $10 per card. If you can get to one of the above-mentioned campuses please pay the required amount to the University Cashier, attach your receipt to a completed Photo ID Card Request form and bring this to the Student Centre at your campus. If you can’t get to one of the campuses, then please make out a cheque or money order payable to Southern Cross University for this amount and forward this with your completed Photo ID Card Request form and photograph (as above).
