Southern Cross University issues Student ID Cards to all students. The card remains valid while you are a student and should be carried with you whenever you are on campus. It is necessary for attendance at examinations, to borrow from the Library and to get approved after-hours access to University buildings. Getting your ID Card during OrientationDrop in to one of our Student Centres and pick-up a form. You can also download the Photo ID Card Request form and bring it to your campus’s Student Centre during Orientation. During study periodsComplete a Photo ID Card Request form and bring it to the Student Centre at your campus. You can also come into the a your campus's Student Centre and we’ll take your photo and issue you with the card. Please also bring with you some other form of photographic identification (such as a driver’s licence or passport). By MailDownload and complete a Photo ID Card Request form and include one (1) passport-sized photograph — no more than six (6) months old, showing a front view of your head and shoulders. Please print your name and Student ID number on the back of the photos and attach them to the Photo ID Card Request form with a paperclip. We will then post your card back to you. Please note, if you do not supply the required, appropriate photographs, we cannot issue your card. Lost or Stolen cardsLost or stolen cards can be replaced at a cost of $10 per card. If you can get to one of the above-mentioned campuses please pay the required amount to the University Cashier and attach your receipt to a completed Photo ID Card Request form and bring this to the Student Centre at your campus. If you can’t get to one of the campuses, then please make out a cheque or money order payable to Southern Cross University for this amount and forward this with your completed Photo ID Card Request form and photographs (as above).
