External students at Lismore, Gold Coast/Tweed Heads and Coffs Harbour campuses have access to the full range of counselling services.

Professional counselling staff provide free and confidential assistance by telephone, including information, advice, referral and counselling for academic, personal and interpersonal issues.

Daytime counselling services are also available at the Lismore, Tweed Gold Coast and Coffs Harbour campuses. A Counselling Clinic operates from Lismore campus during semester, offering same-day appointments, by telephone or in person, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Please contact the campus nearest to you.

External students interested in arranging an appointment to speak with a counsellor should contact the Student Health and Support Service.

Once an appointment has been arranged, the Counsellor will telephone the student at the agreed time. Prior to the appointment the student email/post/fax the Counselling Intake Form and Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) form to the Counselling Service.
