Sandra came to the Graduate College of Management after serving as Dean of Health Sciences and has prior experience in administration, design and delivery of health service and business programs at undergraduate and graduate levels. She has had wide experience in research and teaching at various universities in Australia and North America. Sandra has worked in the higher education sector for 30 years, has trained as a nurse and completed postgraduate study at Flinders and Adelaide universities. At the University of Rochester she specialised in health planning. She holds professional membership as a member of the Australian Psychological Society, and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Mental Health Nurses. She is a registered psychologist, conducts consultancies in education, health and business, and is a psychotherapist at Goonellabah Medical Centre. She has published in the areas of mental health, therapeutic alliances, nursing theory, sociology, feminist research, faculty development, planning for women's health care, leadership and organisational behaviour. |
