Cathy is currently the Staff Equity and Diversity Officer in the University's Equity and Diversity Office, responsible for the Staff Development Program for Women which includes the Staff Mentoring for Women Program, Networking Forum Luncheons, Academic Promotions and Research Workshops. Cathy is also involved in the organisation of the University's Cultural Diversity Events such as Harmony Day and Fusion Festival as well as the Uni-Bound Outreach Programs' Year 9 Residential School. Cathy has been employed in the University since 2000 and has held positions involving student support for the School of Education, the Southern Cross Business School and Student Services. She has a long history in adult education as a Computer Trainer and ACE Tutor. |
