The Norco Third Year Accounting Scholarship was offered for the first time in 2008. Applications have now closed and the successful recipient notified. We thank Norco for coming on board as a scholarship supporter and for its commitment to the education of our accounting students.

This scholarship will again be available in 2009 for second year Bachelor of Business students majoring in Accounting. Please refer to this website in late 2008 for further details.

The scholarship is valued at $5000. This amount is paid to the recipient by instalments of $2500 at the beginning of each semester.

Applicants must be:

• A current second year Bachelor of Business student majoring in Accounting
• Studying full time on-campus at the Southern Cross University Coffs Harbour, Lismore or Tweed Gold Coast campuses.

Selection is based on an application process and the scholarship is advertised to current second year Bachelor of Business students. Applicants need to complete an application form and answer two short questions:

• If you had $2 Million to invest and wanted to start a small-medium sized business, what would you do with the money? (Maximum 200 words)
• What are your career goals? (Maximum 100 words).’
