For Year 11 Students

This page has been put together for Year 11 students to help you think over the issues surrounding Year 12 and beyond.

What should I be doing in Year 11?

Now is the best time to start checking out what’s available after Year 12. You can start to visit the various educational institutions (such as universities, like Southern Cross University) to see what kind of courses they offer. Some universities have Open Days, while others like Southern Cross University give you the chance to visit us at any time on a Campus Tour. These give you a great chance to see what life at university is like. More details about visiting Southern Cross University’s campuses are below.

Probably the best place to start choosing a course is with your school’s Careers Advisor. They will have a full range of information about all the study options you have, as well as course details for many if not all Australian universities. Most importantly they will help you ask yourself the right questions about what kind of career path is the one for you.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already started, you can surf this website to find out almost everything there is to know about Southern Cross University.
