Greenhouse Gas Emissions

During the first half of 2010 an assessment of SCU's greenhouse gas emissions for the 2009/10 financial year was undertaken. Major findings of this assessment were:

* SCU does not have to report Greenhouse Gas Emissions as we are below the mandatory reporting level set by the Australian Greenhouse Office.

* Approximately 53% of our assessable emissions come from electricity consumption.

* Approximately 42% of our assessable emissions come from air travel, including both international and domestic.
