Sustainability in the SCU Strategic Plan 2011-2015

The University Strategic Plan 2011-2015 is the first to embed sustainability as a core goal. Goal 4 states that "We will enhance our performance in a sustainable and responsible manner".

The University has now set a direction in how we are to become more sustainable. You can view an overview of the strategies identified in the plan and ways in which you can contribute to sustainability at SCU in the powerpoint presentation "Sustainability, You and the Strategic Plan" delivered at the Community and Corporate Relations Planning Day in March.

Sustainability Action Planning

The University has no stand alone functional plan for sustainability; it is to be embedded, along with quality and community engagement, across all functional plans.

The University's planning for sustainability was initially guided by the Sustainability Advantage Program and the current document is known as the Sustainability Action Plan 2011-12.
