About Teaching and Curriculum

The Teaching and Curriculum academic team support Southern Cross University's strategic directions in learning and teaching. We use strategies that focus on design for learning and assessment for diverse students in diverse situations, design for learning using technologies and diverse learning spaces, teaching evaluation and the scholarship of teaching.

We support the advancement of teaching through the Professional Learning Framework which includes both formal and informal learning with a strong focus on the spirit of critical inquiry. Through this framework we provide a suite of learning opportunities for academic staff including an award qualification, online modules, focused support for curriculum development, awards and grants.

Teaching and Curriculum staff also work closely and collaboratively with the University's schools through designated key contacts. See School Portfolios to find the contact for your school.
