How Toastmasters Meets Your Needs

Established in 1924, Toastmasters International uses time-tested programs that are continually updated to meet participants needs. Self-paced programs allow you to progress as rapidly or gradually as your needs dictate. The hands-on Communication and Leadership program provides the "how-to" and the practical experience so critical to progress.

Joining Southern Cross Toastmasters Club

The Toastmasters program is cost effective, especially when compared to public speaking seminars charging hundreds of dollars per day. To become a member of SCU Toastmasters club there is a one off joining fee of $29.00 and a half yearly fee of $45.00. We wish to encourage student membership, so once the joining fee has been paid by a new member, the half yearly fee may be paid by instalments.

Friendly and Welcoming

Visitors are welcome to come along to any meeting where they will be supported and encouraged while they decide if they would like to join our club. We are a friendly group of students and staff and every member works at their own pace speaking in front of the group only when they are ready to do so.
