Graduate Profile :: Amanda Walker
Amanda said she contributes her success mostly to dedication, hard work and long hours and definitely, in part, to her time at SCU. Amanda asked her employer Mr. Anthony Stevens to write a brief description of her current position 'Strategic Business Consulting (SBC) is a high level systems consulting company with staff in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Amanda Walker is currently a project leader for SBC based in Sydney.
Amanda currently manages a significant project for BOC across Australia which involves the roll-out of their Accident/Risk Reporting across their Australia-wide network. Amanda managed the development, implementation and training associated with this project which has involved the co-ordination of approximately 50 staff across 10 sites in Australia and New Zealand.
Amanda has a permanent team of six employees, which is supplemented by additional staff where needed, and manages the product solutions budget for SBC. In recent times Amanda Walker has been appointed to the Board of Directors of SBC and as such is a key member of the management team at SBC.'
