School of Business and Tourism Associate Professor Adjunct Associate Professor Michelle Wallace has had many years experience in education and human resource development. She has been Director of the Masters in Human Resources and Organisational Development in the Graduate College of Management and Director of the Doctor of business Administration . Michelle has developed and taught post-graduate programs in the areas of training and development and organisational development and human resources. Michelle has supervised many workplace research projects, Masters, DBA and PhD theses in the area of workplace learning, organisational change, leadership, volunteers, casualisation of the workforce, intentional communities, community engagement and ethics and has researched human resource practices in numerous organisations. Michelle's recent publications include works on power and identity in organisations, change, career development and transnational teaching and learning. Michelle's research has involved women in middle-management and international/transnational teaching and learning. School of Business and Tourism Dr Paul Weeks HND Hotel & Catering Administration(Oxpol); GradDipEd (UNE-NR); MEd-Training & Development (SCU) has 17 years experience in hotel, motel and food service management.

Lecturer in hospitality, information technology and services management for tourism and hospitality organisations, Paul was previously the Director of Academic Studies at The Hotel School Sydney, a unique partnership between SCU and Mulpha Australia.
He is now based at the Gold Coast campus as Course Coordinator of tourism and hospitality programs within the School of Business & Tourism

Research interests include the use of Internet technologies in hotels, the organisation and management of convention services within the hotel sector and historical research in tourism.

He has co-authored the first text on club management in Australia, and been a co-author for a text on Convention Management in Australia.

Other interests include instruction design in open and distance learning.

School of Business and Tourism Mr Craig Wilson has been a casual member of academic staff at SCU since 1996, where he has taught in the Arts, Education, Social Sciences and Business degree programs. Craig's qualifications are Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from UNSW; and he has worker for more than 25 years in the social welfare and community services sector. School of Business and Tourism Dr Dr Meredith Wray (B Bus Tourism, M Int Tour Mangt., PhD) Dr Meredith Wray is a casual Lecturer in the School of Business and Tourism and works a tourism planning consultant. She was a Senior Lecturer within the School until 2014. Meredith is actively engaged in tourism research. Her studies and research work focus primarily on tourism policy, planning, sustainable destination management, marketing and development, and wellness tourism. In recent years she has developed strategic and sustainable tourism planning for regional destinations including: Byron Bay (NSW), Broken Hill,Coffs Coast (Bellingen and Coffs Harbour), Daylesford & Hepburn Springs (Vic), Broken Hill (NSW), Eurobodalla Shire (NSW). She has also been working in a consultancy role on various projects with the state tourism organisations. Meredith completed a Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC) PhD scholarship in 2006 and was awarded an Award for Excellence in PhD research in 2007.
