Ms
Martha Baartz (saxophonist/composer) has performed extensively Nationally and Internationally including The Melbourne Festival, The Brisbane International Jazz Festival, Glastonbury Festival (UK) and The Edinburgh Festival.
Martha is well known for her compositions performed in The Denson Baartz Quartet. She has recorded four successful albums and her music is often played on Radio National, Jazz Track.
She has performed with Australian greats Sandy Evans, Bob Sedergreen (2008 Don Banks award winner) Andrea Keller (Aria winner) Michelle Nicole (Wangaratta Jazz vocal award winner) Dan Sultan, Motown’s “The Funk Brothers”and Renee Geyer. She is a 1st call session and freelance artist Australia wide.

Oversee a team of Technical Officers who are responsible for providing laboratory, computing, software, electronic and workshop support to students, staff, and clinicians in Health and Human Sciences course offerings at the Gold Coast, Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses.
Provide leadership and technical expertise in all phases of software and equipment design, development and maintenance for teaching and research in the School of Health and Human Sciences across the Gold Coast, Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses.
Design, write and/or adapt software applications to support research and teaching activities within the school. Electronics design and production to enable existing equipment to interface with modified software applications to enable users, eg staff and students, to extract data required for research projects.
Create custom databases or adapt existing databases to meet specific School objectives including scope definition, design and implementation of web interfaces for the databases which support administrative and functional activities within the school.
