Dr Bev Joffe

Dr Beverly Joffe is an Adjunct Academic at Southern Cross University (SCU). Formerly, the Course Designer, Curriculum Developer, Course Coordinator, Discipline Lead, Senior Lecturer and Research Supervisor for the new Bachelor of Speech Pathology and Bachelor of Speech Pathology (with Honours) in the SHHS at SCU (2011-2017); she also provided research supervision for a unit for the School of Education at SCU, during 2011. In 2019, Dr Joffe was employed on a fixed term contract as an Associate Professor in the School of Health and Human Sciences (SHHS), to consult to the Bachelor of Speech Pathology Program in relation to Curriculum Development and Program Accreditation. Prior to relocating to NSW, Dr Joffe worked as as an Academic at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Victoria, during which time, she simultaneously completed her Doctoral studies through the University of Melbourne. Her Masters and Bachelors (with Honours) degrees are from the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr Joffe has Certified and Practising status as a Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with the Professional Organisation, Speech Pathology Australia; her expertise in practice, teaching and research being in Paediatric Speech Pathology. Dr Joffe has been a National Accreditor of numerous Speech Pathology Tertiary Programs in Australia. Additionally, she has qualifications in Audiology, from the University of Witwatersrand and in Academic Practice from Southern Cross Unversity. E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
