Chris has over 30 years’ experience in PPPM across varied industries including 10 years leading portfolio management and governance in the nonprofit health sector. Chris now pursues her passion for developing emerging to advanced practitioners as a sessional lecturer, online facilitator and mentor. A strong advocate for equity, diversity and giving back, her efforts have been recognised by her peers, awarding her for "Contribution to Women in Project Management" at the Australian PMI Awards for 2015. As a PMI Global Advisory group volunteer, Chris contributed to the arenas of Organisational Project Management, Professional Development and has been a subject matter reviewer for multiple PMI publications. Chris holds multiple qualifications and certifications in education, development, psychology, technology and project management. Chris is the first Australian to gain the PfMP credential and holds multiple university qualifications. She is also proud to contribute at the governance level including as a Board of Directors member in the social and community services arena. She is currently undertaking her PhD - Non-Executive Director perception of project portfolio visibility at the corporate governance layer.
