This is Mahmudur Rahman. I have completed my PhD study in December 2020 on seed proteomics, traditional uses in medicine and allergenicity of rapeseed/Canola under the supervision of Professor Bronwyn Barkla and Dr Ben Liu with my thesis recommended the highest recommendation awards from the external examiners.

I have been applying proteomics technologies to advance our knowledge in seed protein chemistry, their utilisation as food, reveal their link to allergenicity employing 1D-SDS-PAGE-LC-MS/MS, Western-blotting immunoassay, three-dimensional modelling, basic mass-spectrometry and HPLC analyses. My research interest also includes evaluation of natural products for their biological activities.
