Early Childhood Education Expo - Festival of Careers 2025
Southern Cross University’s Term 3 Festival of Careers is your opportunity to connect with employers, build your career confidence, and explore your future through a series of online and on-campus events.
A key event is the Early Childhood Education Expo—a must-attend if you are preparing to enter the education sector.
What’s it about?
Join SCU Careers staff and hear from around five education providers who will share insights on applying for jobs, current opportunities, and what they look for in graduates. It’s a great chance to ask questions, grow your network, and gain practical advice to support your career journey.

What is it? Hosted by SCU Careers staff, meet and hear from approximately 5 Education providers who will give you information on applying for jobs, scholarships and opportunities available. This is a great chance to learn more, network and ask any questions.

What is it? Maximise your WIL opportunities. Hosted by the marvellous Joanne Cooper, hear tips and tricks to enhance your WIL experience.
Who is this for? All students are welcome, this will be most relevant for those who are studying Health, Social Work, Community Welfare, Counselling and Education.

GradWISE is a graduate program, developed by WISE Employment in conjunction with Australian Universities. The program is designed to empower graduates and tertiary students living with a disability, mental, physical health condition or injury aspire, develop and thrive in graduate jobs and entry-level employment. Come along to find out how GradWISE can support you and help you to achieve your career goals.

Hosted by SCU Careers staff, meet and hear from approximately 5 Allied Heath providers who will give you information on applying for jobs and opportunities available. This is a great chance to learn more, network and ask any questions.
Who is this for? The focus for this Expo is for Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Exercise Physiology, Biomedical Science, Sport & Exercise Science and Physiotherapy. We appreciate that some students will be on placement at this time, and will ask the employers if we can record the session, so we can share the link with you, if you are unable to make it!

Hosted by Professor David Heilpern, Executive Dean of Law, hear about the Law world of work, ideas and advice on how to break into the field, maximising your opportunities while studying.
