Pathways to career success - Festival of Careers 2025
Southern Cross University’s Term 3 Festival of Careers is your opportunity to explore career pathways, connect with employers, and build your professional skills through a range of online and on-campus events.
Pathways to Career Success is designed to help you take the next step in your career journey.
What’s it about?
This session will introduce you to two powerful programs that can shape your future success:
- Business Internships (WIL) – Gain real-world experience while you study.
- The Bright Futures Alumni Mentoring Program – Connect with SCU graduates who’ve been where you are and can help guide your next steps.
You’ll hear from the FBLA team about how to get involved, what to expect, and how these opportunities can give you a competitive edge.
Who should attend?
All FBLA students—especially those enrolled in the Professional Development for the Workplace (PDW) unit.

GradWISE is a graduate program, developed by WISE Employment in conjunction with Australian Universities. The program is designed to empower graduates and tertiary students living with a disability, mental, physical health condition or injury aspire, develop and thrive in graduate jobs and entry-level employment. Come along to find out how GradWISE can support you and help you to achieve your career goals.

Hosted by SCU Careers staff, meet and hear from approximately 5 Allied Heath providers who will give you information on applying for jobs and opportunities available. This is a great chance to learn more, network and ask any questions.
Who is this for? The focus for this Expo is for Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Exercise Physiology, Biomedical Science, Sport & Exercise Science and Physiotherapy. We appreciate that some students will be on placement at this time, and will ask the employers if we can record the session, so we can share the link with you, if you are unable to make it!
