SCU Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care Service provides members of the SCU community pastoral counselling to help with life challenges through caring conversations — a safe place to talk things through and explore options. We also support healthy group connections – including for spiritual and religious care and practice. We assist individuals and groups in making sense during critical periods in their lives, whether they identify with a religion or not.

Chaplaincy at SCU is ecumenical and multi-faith and maintains strong links with recognised religious and faith groups through local, national and international networks. All Chaplains who provide services at SCU are endorsed by a recognised religious organisation. Chaplains are bound by strict standards of confidentiality and ethical practice. SCU Chaplaincy Services are provided free to students and staff.
