Indigenous Scholarship – research-led creative arts practice

* r e a (Dr Regina Saunders) is an interdisciplinary artist, curator, activist, cultural educator, creative thinker whose research-led practice, takes its development from new and critical discourses exploring intersectionality and positionality, through the cultural convergence of Aboriginality.

r e a is a descendant from the Gamilaraay/Wailwan/Biripi nations’, Central West and mid-North Coast, New South Wales.

r e a will introduce their research-led practice and discuss how they unintentionally engaged in a culturally jarring and often trauma-trigger relationship with numerous sandstone institutions.

There is a silent narrative that is deafening for Indigenous people working in or collaborating with any institution in Australia.

The direct Zoom link will be emailed on registration.
