Intro to Internet of Things - Workshop 2 with Southern Cross University - online
These events are free to attend.
The Internet of Things: A lightbulb that you can switch on and off even when you are miles away; a fridge that texts you when you need to do the next shopping trip; a car that “talks” to other cars to avoid accidents. These are examples of things that are “smart”. If you can make everyday objects smart, imagine the possibilities!
The Internet of Things, or IoT, refers to the billions of these smart things around the world that are now connected to the Internet. What make these things smart? How do they work? And can you even make one? All this you can find out in the Introduction to IoT workshop.
