Tourism Tracer guest lecture - Lismore

Members of the tourism and hospitality industry, local government, NGOs, residents and the university community are all welcome to attend a talk on the 'Digital Innovations in Tourism and Hospitality: The Tourist Tracer Project and the Airbnb Conundrum' by Dr Anne Hardy from the University of Tasmania.

The free talk hosted by Southern Cross University at the Lismore Regional Art Gallery from 1pm on 21 March, 2018. No registration required.

Dr Anne Hardy is the lead investigator on the ground-breaking Tourism Tracer project that has received international acclaim and won numerous awards. It is the first research project to track tourists across an entire destination for the duration of their stay. She will also talk about her research on Airbnb, and discuss the pros and cons of this often controversial online peer-to-peer accommodation platform.
