What is UX - Workshop 1 with Southern Cross University - online
These events are free to attend.
UX is all about the User eXperience – and how we feel when we use a product or service. Is it easy? and fun? or annoying? At the heart of this experience are the interactions that you have with the technology or device you are using. How do you interact with it? What feedback do you get? Whether we are building games, entertainment, or a business application, the design of a product’s UX is key to its success.
In this workshop, we’ll look at ways we can use technology to affect UX. We’ll demonstrate some of the ways – using graphics and animation tools to Mixed Reality (MR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications. You’ll have an opportunity to try out MR for yourself using Hololens, VR using Oculus and HTC VIVE headsets, or AR on your own phone. You can brainstorm your own ideas, and then develop something yourself using our computers and equipment, or on your own phone. Be ready to put your creative hat on and have some practical fun!
Workshop delivered at TAFE Coomera and online.
