Southern Cross University Coffs Harbour gives senior high school students a preview

Almost 200 senior students from 12 high schools on the Mid North Coast will spend most of tomorrow (Wednesday) on the Coffs Harbour campus of Southern Cross University getting an early look at courses, scholarships and various aspects of university life.

The Senior Schools Day gives students who are interested in university, and who are about to enter their final year of high school, a chance to look at available courses, talk to current SCU students and ask questions.

Media are welcome.

The key times are:

9.45am - Students arrive at SCU’s Coffs Harbour campus.
10.00am – General information session in the D Block Theatre.
11.00am – Information sessions begin on Southern Cross University courses in:
• Arts, Contemporary Music and Visual Arts;
• Business;
• Education;
• Environmental Science;
• Human Movement, Exercise Science and Nutrition;
• Indigenous Studies;
• Information Technology and Multi Media;
• Law and Justice;
• Naturopathy;
• Nursing,
• Psychology;
• Social Science;
• Technology Education;
and Tourism.

12.30pm – Lunch
1.15pm - Panel session with current SCU students at 1.15pm
2.00pm – Program ends
