The Southern Cross University Council has released a statement on the climate crisis, following a meeting last week.

The University acknowledges that there is a global ecological and climate crisis and that Southern Cross University has the opportunity to play a key role in addressing it. The University is more than willing to accept that responsibility. In particular, the University reaffirms its commitment to sustainability across its disciplines and research in such a climate-challenged environment. We will work with staff and students to develop action plans for the University as a whole and for our individual stakeholders who have an equally important role to play in meeting this challenge.
