International Women's Day
8 March
The University acknowledges International Women's Day, which is held on 8 March each year. International Women's Day is a world-wide celebration of women's social, economic, cultural and political achievements. It provides a focus to the continuing need for achieving gender equality.
The theme for 2022 International Women’s Day is, “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, recognizing the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and response, to build a more sustainable future for all.
