Your graduation is an event in which you and your family and friends can take great pride. It is also a source of pride and satisfaction for Southern Cross University.
You do not graduate here without having made a considerable commitment of time and energy and personal sacrifice. In most cases, that also involved sacrifices by your loved ones. On behalf of Southern Cross University I congratulate you on your graduation.
This ceremony is the University's way of congratulating you and welcoming you to membership of the Southern Cross University community. We are proud of our graduates and we hope that you are proud to be a graduate of the University. In a short space of time we believe that the University has acquired a remarkable reputation of which we take great pride and you are, as a graduate, part of the evidence of our success. Graduation day is an opportunity for you to reflect both on the past and on the future. This may well be a very significant change in direction in your life.
Whatever directions your life may take these skills that you have acquired and developed here will stand you in good stead, not only in your working and professional life but in life generally.
Please consider joining one of our alumni chapters so that we can keep you informed of the University's activity and you can better continue the links that have already been established. We have an interest in knowing what you do in the future. I hope you have found your period of study here of satisfaction to you.
Enjoy your achievement and graduation day.
