Rhonda Armistead is an Artist from Lismore in the Northern Rivers and is a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists. Featured Artist on Colour In Your Life and Bluethumb.

Mediums include, oils and acrylics on canvas, reduction plate lino prints, dry point prints on acrylic plates, drawings, sketches in pencil and charcoal and fine line pen.

Her paintings include portraits, landscapes and contemporary pieces.

Rhonda explores the intrinsic biodiversity and nature studies of the Region along with expressive portraiture and dramatic combinations of both, usually with an underlying message encapsulated within the symbolism and aesthetic of the work.

Rhonda and her husband own Armisteads Picture Framing and Gallery where they consult with Artists on framing and exhibitions and where she holds 2 Art classes per week along with being Admin on the “Artist Studios International” facebook page and has been invited to Judge many local Art Prizes.

Her works are an intimate conversation between head, heart and hand and can be viewed on her website

Rhonda has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions over the past 15 years and worked on many commissioned works.

Her paintings, drawings and prints are held in private and corporate collections throughout Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, America, Spain, Nepal and Japan.
