Bachelor of Marine Science and Management (1st Class Honours), 2013
Amanda completed her undergraduate studies at Southern Cross University. She received first class Honours for her work investigating marine debris in the Solitary Islands Marine Park, New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Amanda is now completing her PhD and was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award to determine the life history and behaviour of subtropical cuttlefish species (Sepia opipara, S. plangon, S. rozella) in Northern NSW. The findings of this research will support the sustainable exploitation of these species, and expand on our limited knowledge of cuttlefish life histories and population dynamics around the globe.
