Aspiring Student Scholarship

The Southern Cross University Aspiring Student Scholarship celebrates students deemed to have a strong entry application and who in 2021 are commencing their journey towards obtaining one of the following Bachelor degree programs at Southern Cross University: Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Business and Enterprise; Bachelor of Arts; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business and Enterprise.

Application process

No application is required. Students are selected based on the assessment of information known to the Southern Cross University Admissions (admission rank or ATAR).

Uncapped.

Value

The Scholarship’s total value is $3,500 per year for one year.

The maximum total scholarship value is $3,500.

Payments of up to $1,750 for enrolment of 3 or more units (36 credit points) in the corresponding payment period. Enrolment of 1 to 2 units (12 to 30 credit points) shall be entitled to $875.

If total accrued is less than $3,500 and there is a corresponding enrolment in Session 3 2021 or Summer Term 2022.

The annual total is capped at $3,500 and to be consumed before 28 February 2022.

If total accrued is less than $3,500 and there is a corresponding enrolment in Session 1/Summer Term/Term 1 or Term 2 in 2022.

The annual total is capped at $3,500 and to be consumed before 30 June 2022.

Selection criteria

Recipients of this Scholarship were selected based upon the following criteria:

  1. Commencing in one of the following programs in 2021: Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Business and Enterprise; Bachelor of Arts; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business and Enterprise.
  2. Deemed by Southern Cross University Admission to have a strong entry application.
