Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program
The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program improves access to and completion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) tertiary education courses, including in the fields of health and agricultural science.
Complete the 2019 QTAC Scholarship Application by 1 February 2019.
A minimum of 1200 Scholarships will be made to eligible applicants over 2017–18 and 2020–21 academic years.
Course of study
Courses from the School of Environment, Science and Engineering, School of Health and Human Sciences and the Bachelor of Information Technology.
Up to $18,000 (based on course length and type of study or training)
A further $500 is available to scholarship recipients to support an internship, for further information visit the QTAC scholarships website
Applicants applying for a Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarship must be Australian citizens, permanent resident, holder of a permanent humanitarian visa, or a New Zealand Citizen living in Australia.
Applications will be evaluated on:
- You must not have already commenced your Eligible Course of Study
- Your permanent home address must be in a regional or remote area as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography (ASGS)
- Demonstrate Financial Need
- Capability to undertake your Eligible Course of Study
