Teaching environment and eTeach

The School of Education is committed to fostering the development of teachers who are well prepared for 21st century classrooms. Our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees encourage future and practising teachers to effectively integrate information and communication technology into their learning and teaching.

A 'real life' classroom environment

Each of our campuses provide students with access to a 'real life' classroom environment, which we refer to as our eTeach rooms. These provide access to the types of technologies students will encounter in a well equipped modern classroom. Our students learn to use interactive whiteboards, and create multimedia and web-based teaching resources that can be used in practice in the classroom. Many of these resources are available to be shared with teachers in the broader community.
