About the Program

Over a period of two days, teachers will use a problem-solving approach to the development of a robot designed to attempt the Secondary Search and Rescue course. They will develop assessment tools to apply to their colleagues' efforts and provide them with feedback.

The participants will work in small groups (approx 2-3). Depending on the size of the course, each team may be allocated to one of three tribes.

This course is designed to give teachers the confidence to use EV3 robotics in their everyday teaching. It uses a problem based approach using the RoboCup Jnr Secondary Search and Rescue Challenge to demonstrate the differentiation and engagement possibilities of robotics.
