Graduate Certificate in Business Law
The Graduate Certificate in Business Law gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in specific areas that include tax, competition, consumer, intellectual property, global business and corporate governance law. The course is ideal both for recent graduates who wish to increase their employment prospects and professionals wishing to extend their skills.
Students choose four electives from the following: global business law, competition law, tax law, advanced property law, consumer law, litigation and corporations, advanced legal research, the law of corporate governance and advanced intellectual property law.
Note: Students without an equivalent Bachelor of Laws degree complete a core unit in Legal Institutions and Processes and three electives.
Master of Laws (Business Law)
The Master of Laws (Business Law) (LLM) develops an advanced understanding of the various fields of corporate and commercial law. The course extends and develops critical thinking and analytical skills, with the opportunity to acquire in-depth legal knowledge to strengthen professional practice.
Students complete core studies in advanced legal research with a choice of elective units in intellectual property, property law, competition and consumer law, global business law, tax, litigation and corporate governance.
This course can be completed in 16 months with the accelerated part-time study option.
Master of Business Law
The Master of Business Law is ideal for non-lawyers who need to make legal business decisions in diverse business and corporate environments.
The course provides an introduction to corporate and commercial law, including consumer law, competition law, corporate responsibility, corporate governance and global business law. It is delivered completely online with a flexible study program to suit work and personal commitments.
