The Greta Bird Public Lecture in Legal Theory and Critique: Pregnancy, Poverty and the State

Delivered by Chancellor’s Professor of Law at the University of California, Irvine, Professor Michele Bratcher Goodwin. The lecture explores how core rights of reproductive choice and reproductive privacy have been eroded in the United States though decisions of the State, and what this means for poor women and women of colour. 

The lecture will be followed by a conversation hosted by ABC Radio National’s Paul Barclay from RN’s Big Ideas [,-poverty-and-the-state/9191054]
