Small sided football
5-a-Side is a fast-paced, high scoring brand of the game played on smaller pitches giving each player more touches on the ball. Having less players means it is easier to organise a team and each player gets more football.
Players of all standards and fitness enjoy playing on the world class Southern Cross Football Centre surface under high quality lights with full canteen and change room facilities right by the playing fields.
When, where, cost
All matches will be played on the world class synthetic field at the Southern Cross Football Centre venue, Crawford Road, East Lismore.
Competitions run for 10 weeks.
Full details of upcoming competitions including costs, the process for team nomination and player registration are available on our Registration page.
In order to keep costs as low as possible our competition is registered with the NSW Governments’ Sporting Injuries Insurance Scheme. Whilst injuries may be are rare, it is recommended that before competing each player consider their individual insurance needs and to take out their own personal health insurance if they believe additional cover is required.
For more information on what is covered by the NSW Government Sporting Injuries Insurance Scheme view the Sporting Injuries Insurance Information Sheet.
The Scheme covers serious injuries (where permanent loss of use is suffered) and death that can unfortunately occur during an authorised sporting activity. Injuries such as twisted ankles, broken hands etc. are not covered. Again, it is recommended that each player take out their own personal health insurance, just in case.
