Fusion Festival 2019 "Faces of Fusion" Photography Competition
Flags of Diversity. During my half marathon, people came from all over the world to run at Uluru, it shows wherever you are, we can all come together to race, or study.
Where's Weekesy? This was shot in Indonesia where we found ourselves on the flip side of cultural diversity. Here's my mate Weekesy hanging with some locals.

Blended backgrounds in Bali. My daughter and I spent three weeks on a scooter around Eastern Bali in April and we found a new friend.
Culture at Customs House. The young dancers in this photo were AIME participants from around Australia who were mentored by Bangarra Dance Theatre to develop this work. It was showcased at the forecourt of Customs House in Circular Quay, Sydney. It was very moving to see Aboriginal culture and lore.

Zoe. Here is a daughter of the world. She is an embodiment of ethnic fusion. Like the ocean she is from many cultural rivers. She unites faiths, creeds and cultures by simply existing.

My dog Louk ate my Art project. Self Portrait. I am an Aboriginal Artist nomad studying Arts and Design at university. My ridgeback cross kelpie dingo dog Louk ate my Art. It was a story on the destruction of our coast line by predatory developers.
Time out and just 'being' with a stranger in Vietnam. Sitting in a coffee shop in Hoi An in Vietnam and sharing a street corner with a man who we shared the serenity and peace of just 'being'.

Frescoes. Being half sri lankan i've always been curious about the other half of my culture and while ago i was lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka for the first time. I took this double exposure of the sun rising that morning and the sigiriya frescoes.
Faces of Fusion. I am so blessed to work with the international team and also study as an international student at Southern Cross University. This photo was taken during Fusion Festival 2019 on the Gold Coast campus.
Polish Australians. David Helfgott's concert in Coffs Harbour. We both have Polish roots and had a chat about it at the intermission.

Charra de Jalisco. Traje de Charra, is the typical clothing that identifies Mexico national and International wise. This typical outfit represents one state of 32. Commonly wear during the festivities of Independence of Mexico and the National Sport "La charreria".
Smile. The photo was taken in Nepal. The boy's name was Raju. The people in Solukhumbhu are deprived of so many basic needs, including education, hygiene facilities, food and water. However, raju was still the happiest kid, who was rich with laughter, friends, family and love.....

Trail walking starts young in South America. At 5,200m above sea level, I met this young girl on the trail to Rainbow Mountain in Peru. She let me take her photo and then quickly hussled me for a few soles :)
Bali Hinduism. Bali is a beautiful island in Indonesia. It 's culture is fulfill with Hinduism. Bali people are the most religious, innocent and helpful people i have ever seen in my entire lifetime.They love their religion as their own life.
