Public Interest Disclosures

The University is committed to protecting staff members who report wrongdoing in the workplace. Some reports of wrongdoing may be classified as protected or public interest disclosure under the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994 (NSW) (PID Act).

The University's Public Interest Disclosures Policy specifically addresses those types of reports, by establishing an internal reporting system for the making of disclosures about corrupt conduct, maladministration, serious and substantial waste of public money or government information contravention by SCU staff members.

Other types of reports or complaints may be submitted in accordance with the University's Complaints Framework.
