Student Consultations

We offer a range of options for students who are seeking individual or small group advice. Appointments with Academic Skill Lecturers are made in CareerHub. Click on the Make an appointment/Assignment review button on this page. Then click on the blue 'Current Students' button and use your MySCU login details.

Consultations by Appointment

Appointments of up to 30 minutes face-to-face on campus (across all campuses), via telephone, email, Blackboard Collaborate and Skype are available for individuals or small groups from Monday to Friday, 9am-4.30pm.

Time available for face-to-face consultations is limited and demand is heavy so it is best to try some of our other options such as or our Quick Guides as a first resort. If you can't find an available appointment on your campus on the day you'd like, make a phone appointment with an Academic Skills Lecturer on another campus. For further information on making appointments, download PDF Make an appointment with an Academic Skills lecturer.

YourTutor, a friendly one-to-one academic skills support service is also available in selected units for first year students in their learning sites from 4pm-Midnight, Sunday-Friday. Click the YourTutor service link via your unit in MySCU to access.
