Collaborate Ultra Support
Collaborate Ultra is web-based audio-conferencing software for real- time collaboration; a mix of a teletutorial and virtual classroom with lots of additional features.
Lecturers can have real-time discussions with you while you view or participate in the presentation of PowerPoint slides, web sites, the whiteboard and shared applications that are all interactive. Collaborate Ultra also offers media sharing, text messaging (chat), ad-hoc surveys (polling) and basic assessment capabilities. Classes can be recorded by session moderators for later playback.
How to join a Collaborate Ultra class
You will access live and recorded Collaborate Ultra sessions through the Collaborate Ultra link in your MySCU learning site.
It is recommended that you have a headset with a microphone. You can use the computer's built in speakers and microphone but the audio quality may not be very good. If you use a laptop or have disconnected your headset ensure that you complete the audio setup wizard with Collaborate Ultra each time you start a new session.
