Enhancing Your Teaching Through Peer Feedback: Preparing for Constructive Peer Review

This interactive workshop is designed to support academic staff in preparing for a peer review of their teaching. Whether you are engaging in peer review for professional development, promotion, HEA fellowship application or continuous improvement, this session will help you gain a better understanding of the process and elements of peer review of teaching in the SCM. Participants will explore the review criteria during the whole process. This session is ideal for educators who are seeking to engage more purposefully in the review process.

- A clear overview of the purpose, benefits, and applications of peer review of teaching within the SCM
- A step-by-step walkthrough of the peer review process and timeline
- An explanation of the SCM peer review criteria and how they are applied throughout the review
- Guidance on aligning your peer review process with the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) 2023
- Dedicated time for questions and clarification around using peer review for professional development, promotion, and HEA fellowship applications
