Kahoot for student engagement
Presenter: Kate Baltrotsky
You're invited to an interactive workshop on designing engaging quizzes for your students using a digital platform called Kahoot. In-class quizzes create engaging learning opportunities for students and serve as valuable formative assessment for educators, offering continuous feedback on students’ knowledge and comprehension.
Workshop format:
- Participate in a fun demonstration.
- What is Kahoot and how to access it through the university.
- A demonstration on how to make a quiz using Kahoot’s artificial intelligence function.
- Create your own quiz that you can use with your students (bring and have your questions and answers ready to go in a word document for easy copy and pasting), using a free Kahoot account.
This session is designed to add fun and effectiveness to your teaching strategies.
Audience: All staff.
Please note: Register for this workshop in Scout and the workshop Zoom details will be provided in the Scout confirmation email.
