Course summary

The Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws offers students the opportunity to study two dynamic disciplines concurrently, pursuing areas of special interest from a wide range of arts and humanities subjects while qualifying as a lawyer. The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) fulfils the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession. 

The Bachelor of Arts enables critical thinking, community engagement and creative practices. It is one of the most flexible degrees on offer, with the possibility of choosing majors and minors from more than 20 diverse subject areas. There are no majors in the Bachelor of Laws degree, however, a diverse range of elective units is available.

Applicants who do not have the required entry mark for a double degree in law are encouraged to apply for the Bachelor of Arts. If those students achieve the required grade point average during the Bachelor of Arts, they may then apply for transfer into the double degree.
